Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead on multifamily construction sites, coordinating closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure flawless execution. You will interpret plans, oversee field staff, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

The ideal candidate brings a construction management degree (or equivalent experience) with strong leadership, scheduling, and cost accounting skills, plus Procore experience. This role is on-site in our growing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field; equivalent education/experience considered.
• 4 years of progressive experience in construction site management with a Bachelor's, or 6 years with an Associate's, or 8 years with GED.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and promote the corporate culture and values.
• Collaborate with the Project Superintendent and contractors to resolve construction challenges.
• Interpret plans accurately and guide subcontractors for code compliance.
• Oversee subcontractors, conduct site investigations, and maintain a safe, organized job site.
• Lead and communicate effectively to maintain team cohesion.
