Job summary

Marmer Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the Starke, Florida project. The role focuses on on-site supervision of subcontractors and deliveries, ensuring scheduling milestones are met, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Management team on owner changes, ensuring signage and MSDS compliance, and leading weekly meetings with subcontractors and OAC to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Strong communication in a team environment.
• Organized, proactive, and ability to take initiative.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site daily supervision of subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Assist with project scheduling to meet milestones and timely completion.
• Review quality control to align with management and owner expectations.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance on site with all personnel.
• Coordinate owner changes with Project Management for timely incorporation.
• Ensure proper signage, posters, notices, and MSDS are posted on site.
• Hold weekly subcontractor and OAC meetings to maintain project information and schedule.
