Job summary

Holder Construction seeks an Assistant Superintendent to join our Operations team on projects in Fort Wayne, IN and Mooresville, IN. This full-time, in-person role focuses on executing contract requirements and supporting safety, schedule, and quality objectives.

You will oversee on-site workforces, coordinate daily scope, sequencing, inspections, and manage site logistics while mentoring associates and aligning with office and field teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering-related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities are essential.
• Clear communication and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Execute contract requirements and support safety, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Exemplify Holder’s commitment to safety and enforce OSHA/compliance.
• Oversee on-site workforces, coordinating daily scope, sequencing, and inspections.
• Assign responsibilities and collaborate with office and field teams to support goals and manage risk.
• Manage project site logistics and organize on-site activities to maintain workflow.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to associates, supporting growth and team development.
• Read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
