Sears Home Services – In Home is seeking an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician in Franklinville, NJ. You will diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances at customers’ homes, delivering high-quality service and a positive experience.

The role requires EPA certification, a high school diploma, and willingness to travel up to 100%. You’ll use a company vehicle, smartphone, and training to grow your skills and advance within Sears.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude with testing & repair tools.
• Experience repairing and diagnosing home appliances preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply written technical text.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English.
• Successfully pass a background & drug screen.
• Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves, with high quality and efficiency.
• Deliver excellent customer experience that consistently exceeds expectations.
• Provide customers with value‑added solutions that help make their homes cleaner, more comfortable & protected.
• Maintain the company truck well‑organized and help manage parts efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
