Job summary

RINGANA GmbH in Roanoke is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset accounting for the U.S. business. You will work with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and coordinate with Austria HQ to optimize processes and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, month-end close support, and collaboration across Finance teams. On-site only, relocation not offered; English, German or Spanish skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of professional AP and Fixed Asset experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP is preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP, fixed assets, journal entries, and month-end closer.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. accounting requirements.
• Interest in process optimization, automation, and digitalization in Finance.
• High accuracy, reliability and detail orientation.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; solid communication and organization.
• Experience in global settings or e-commerce is a plus; English/German/Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP operations including invoice processing and payments.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation and asset dispositions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing under U.S. requirements.
• Maintain vendor records and banking/tax documents (W-9s).
• Collaborate with U.S. finance and Austria HQ; support process improvements.
• Assist with project cost tracking and asset ledger reconciliations.
• Drive implementation and optimization of Dynamics 365 for the U.S. business.
