Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Analytical Lab Technician to join our Hanover, PA laboratory. The role focuses on analytical testing, data collection and documentation to support product quality, food safety, and R&D across the Utz network.

Based on-site in Hanover, you will perform testing, calibrate equipment, and lead projects while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. A strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvement guides daily work.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a laboratory environment or QA food manufacturing/R&D.
• Experience working in cross functional teams.
• Experience with snack food lab testing methods and sensory evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise analytical testing on raw materials, finished goods, and benchtop samples.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment daily.
• Lead analytical projects and provide status updates and data summaries.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on lab initiatives.
• Travel to manufacturing locations to support lab projects as needed.
