Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Merrifield, VA seeks a Software Engineer / Agile Delivery Lead to manage enterprise software development and drive digital transformation initiatives. This on-site role focuses on end-to-end SDLC delivery, risk mitigation, and performance optimization within a project-driven team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in enterprise environments, strong leadership, and SAFe/PMI-ACP credentials.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in enterprise software development environments.
Experience managing projects through the full SDLC lifecycle.
Experience with dependency management, CPM, risk burndown charts and velocity analysis.
Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills; budget and risk management.
SAFe RTE, SAFe Architect and/or PMI-ACP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from project assignment through implementation and deployment.
Monitor and maintain optimal system performance while identifying and mitigating risks.
Support change management, dependency management, and CPM analysis to develop risk burndown charts.
Lead team velocity tracking, capacity planning, and project execution activities.
Recommend and improve software development processes and operational efficiencies.
