This role supports both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate records, timely receipts and payments, and day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, team-oriented, and capable of cross-training across multiple accounting functions, with strong communication and internal-control discipline.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or other relevant financial experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting concepts and general ledger reconciliations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness and ability to learn new accounting processes, systems, and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of day-to-day accounting activities across multiple areas of the department.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy, proper account classification, and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and transaction-related questions.
• Provide cross-functional support for accounts receivable, customer and vendor account maintenance.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation in accordance with procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to research and resolve accounting-related questions.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
