Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for our growing insurance agency segment. You will supervise AP/AR, review billing, manage commission revenue reporting and reconciliations, and lead a small accounting team including external resources.

The ideal candidate will be a practical problem solver, improving workflows, ensuring accurate financial processing, and remaining actively involved in daily accounting activities while mentoring

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and revenue reporting.
• Insurance agency accounting experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating with carriers to resolve accounting and commission discrepancies.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and support accounting staff and consultants.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Administrative and process improvement experience.
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools to modernize accounting and back-office processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of insurance agency accounting, commission accounting, and carrier reconciliations.
