Job summary

USA Clinics Group, Northbrook, IL, is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our Corporate team. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Clerk will primarily be responsible for purchasing orders, data entry, and assisting in the overall accounting function. Location: Northbrook, IL.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site. Compensation: $24-$27/hr. This role supports AP, GL, and month-end close activities and offers a path to contribute to a growing, patient-focused

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of foundational accounting concepts.
• Experience with GL accounts, month end close, and journal entries.
• Familiar with Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general accounting tasks, including purchase order reconciliation and other ad hoc projects.
• Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing.
• Assist with GL accounts, month end close, and journal entries.
• Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes.
• Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis.
• Additional duties as assigned.
