Qualifications

• Technical skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting access control systems, electronic locking hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics with safety standards.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment (e.g., multimeters), and basic networking concepts for access control.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills for multiple tasks and service requests.
• Effective communication and collaboration with clients, project teams, and site personnel in a professional manner.
• Previous security systems/low-voltage work preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school beneficial.
• On-site Phoenix, AZ work, standing, bending, lifting equipment, ladders; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain access control systems at client sites in Phoenix, AZ.
• Wiring and mounting devices such as card readers, keypads, electronic locks, and control panels.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Document work performed and update system records; train end users on basic system operation.
• Respond to service requests or system outages and coordinate with project managers and site supervisors.
