Job summary

Globe Life is seeking an Access Control Technician to administer and monitor physical access control systems and security surveillance infrastructure. You will work with IT, Facilities, HR, Legal, and Compliance to ensure access permissions match employment status and regulatory requirements.

The role is onsite in McKinney, TX, requiring hands-on expertise in physical security, policy work, and advisory support across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in physical security or access control administration.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Lenel, Software House, or Genetec.
• Knowledge of IP-based video surveillance and VMS software; physical security hardware installation including readers, controllers, strikes, locks.

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of access control systems, including granting, modifying, and revoking credentials.
• Manage and review security camera systems to ensure continuous recording and proper coverage.
• Respond to service requests, incidents, and alarms in a timely manner.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of access control hardware and software.
• Collaborate with IT and Facilities on new equipment installation during office builds or renovations.
• Support investigations by retrieving and preserving footage and logs.
