Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions Segment in Tallahassee, FL, seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily manufacturing activities on the shop floor. This on-site role focuses on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost targets while building high-performing teams.

You will coach operators and team leaders, drive root-cause problem solving, and promote 5S and continuous improvement across the operation, ensuring products meet high standards and customers receive reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of production, safety, and quality expectations in an industrial setting.
• Ability to coach employees, manage performance, and day-to-day people decisions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Coach and develop operators and team leaders through training, feedback, and performance support.
• Drive root-cause problem solving to remove obstacles and improve processes on the production floor.
• Build flexible, high-performing teams through smart work assignments and cross-training.
• Promote a clean, safe, and organized workplace, supporting 5S and continuous improvement efforts.
