Job summary

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. in Anderson, SC is seeking an Assistant Video Editor/AD to support video production from pre-production planning through post-shoot.

The role requires strong time management, on-set collaboration, and DIT responsibilities to ensure footage flows to the editing team efficiently. The ideal candidate has 5 years of commercial film AD/DIT experience, proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Silver Stack, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent work history in field.
• 5 years commercial film AD and DIT experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Silver Stack or similar software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist video director by managing and organizing multi-day shoot schedules and pre-production planning.
• Assess and communicate time and equipment needs for each shot with full production scope in mind.
• Perform DIT duties: downloading, tagging, converting and transferring footage to editing team and manage camera card workflow.
• Confirm focus, exposure, image quality and continuity issues through monitors.
• Support video crew on shoot day: audio assist, packing/unpacking, equipment setup/teardown, and logistics assistance.
