Responsibilities

• Perform DIT duties: download, tag, convert and transfer footage to the editing team; manage camera card workflow.
• Confirm focus, exposure, image quality and continuity issues via monitor.
• Support video shoot day logistics: audio assist, load/unload gear, set up/teardown, assist crew.

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an Assistant Video Editor / ADthat supports video production from pre-production planning through post-shoot by using diverse video equipment knowledge, exceptional time management and quality assessment skills. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist video director by managing and organizing multi-day shoot schedules and ensuring efficient planning through storyboard assessments at pre‑production meetings.
• Assess and accurately communicate time and equipment needed to accomplish each video shot with full scope of production in mind.
• Perform DIT (Digital Imaging Technician) responsibilities by downloading, tagging, converting and transferring footage to editing team, as well as being responsible for all camera card workflow.
• Responsible for confirming focus, exposure, image quality and continuity issues through monitor.
• Perform duties as an active part of the video crew responsible for video shoot day including, but not limited to: audio assist, packing and unpacking vehicles, equipment set up and tear down and help with logistics when appropriate.
