Job summary

Pine State Beverage is seeking an On-Premise Fine Wine Sales Representative to cover accounts throughout York County in Maine. The role focuses on growing the wine, beer and non-alcoholic portfolio with local market insight and strong account management.

Primary duties include developing sales strategies, presenting promotions, and maintaining relationships with owners and buyers. Requires strong communication, drive, and a Maine driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of on-premise trade, sales & marketing in beverage industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Business math skills and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility for extended hours including late nights and weekends.
• Valid Maine driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and present effective sales strategies to customers.
• Communicate new items and market information to generate demand.
• Generate proposals for draft lines, house pours, and events.
• Prepare scheduled sales presentations and draft proposals.
• Write orders to maintain product levels and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain account relationships and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Review inventory and back stock at accounts weekly.
• Adhere to account call frequency and complete administrative paperwork.
