Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort in Utah seeks a Winter Lift Operations Lead to oversee a rotating zone of lift operations and lead multiple lifts and crews to meet department and resort standards.

The role requires independence, initiative, and trust, with weekend and holiday availability. Rate of pay is $19.00/hr plus a $200 uniform allowance. Shifts include day 7:30 am–4:30 pm and night 3:30 pm–9:00 pm; FLSA Non-Exempt/Hourly Seasonal.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to work independently and determine operational priorities.
• Proficient in coaching employees and delivering constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Lift Operations AORs and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Inspect lifts and operational areas and address needs.
• Coach and manage crew performance and enforce policies.
• Coordinate with Lift Maintenance and other departments.
• Provide hands-on training in lift operations and emergency procedures.
• Maintain station inventories and equipment.
• Lead during day and night shifts and manage scheduling.
