Job summary

Sunday River is seeking hardworking and energetic individuals for the Competitions on Hill Crew to build, maintain, and tear down race venues throughout the winter. You will be outdoors in all weather, collaborate with a team, and ensure guest safety and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include setting up courses, assisting athletes, and operating on-hill infrastructure. Prior event crew experience is a plus; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to ski or snowboard confidently on intermediate terrain.
• Comfortable working outdoors in winter weather for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Prior event or race crew experience is a plus, but not required.
• Alpine Official Certifications are preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays during competition and event periods.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Safety and promote safety policies.
• Provide exceptional guest service, creating a caring, efficient experience for guests.
• Work effectively with team members and managers, during peak times and registrations.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of racecourses, venues, and terrain features.
• Operate tools and equipment safely in a mountain environment.
• Support Athletics and Events teams for smooth competition execution.
• Provide positive guest and athlete support during events.
