Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services on the United States, Pennsylvania site seeks a Quality Inspector to verify conformity of cut and ready‑to‑ship parts against customer requirements on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery.

You will visually inspect, measure dimensions, review mill test reports, and ensure calibration and documentation accuracy while supporting investigations and training teammates.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 1 year experience as QC inspector in aeronautical or automotive industry.
• Safety Mindset.
• Technical college graduate with 1+ years of experience as QC inspector in aeronautical field.
• Experience with aluminum alloys.
• Able to create basic quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all steps of product quality inspections in all departments.
• Communicate with corporate quality department and external customers.
• Effectively train others.
• Inspect parts visually and check dimensions, line marking, harness and conductivity.
• Review mill test reports and conformance certificates release from other distributors.
• Ensure daily and periodic calibration of measuring devices.
• Keep accurate quality reports and assist with quality investigations.
• Segregate non-conforming material.
• Work on warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
