Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Quality Inspector for 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) to verify conformance of parts against customer requirements. You will perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and review test reports on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1 year experience as QC inspector in aeronautical or automotive industry.
• Safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Preferred: technical college graduate with 1+ years of QC inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all steps of product quality inspections in all departments and train others.
• Inspect parts visually, check dimensions, line marking, harness and conductivity.
• Review mill test reports and conformance certificates.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring devices.
• Keep accurate quality reports and support quality investigations.
• Segregate non-conforming material on the warehouse floor.
