Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a QA Manager to lead daily quality assurance across cultivation, post-harvest, and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will ensure on-the-floor quality checks are consistent and properly recorded, routed, and resolved.

This role owns in-process quality execution across sites, defines QA standards, and mentors QA staff. As the department grows, you will expand leadership across the site QA organization and adapt to evolving business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, life sciences, food science, quality management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in quality assurance within cultivation, food, agricultural, or another regulated production environment.
• At least 2 years leading or coordinating a quality team across multiple shifts or sites.
• Demonstrated experience running in-process quality checks in a live production environment.
• Working knowledge of deviation and nonconformance handling, and of how findings feed a corrective action process.
• Practical experience building quality reporting from production data.
• Experience in cannabis cultivation or post-harvest, or with GACP, GMP, or HACCP requirements, preferred.
• Conversational Spanish a plus.
• Valid California driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly between Camarillo and Carpinteria sites.
• Ability to work in greenhouse and post-harvest environments, including heat, humidity, and extended periods of standing and walking, with required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QA across cultivation, post-harvest, and warehouse operations.
• Ensure quality checks occur at the point of work and are consistently applied across sites.
• Own intake of deviations, nonconformances, and customer complaints and route to corrective action.
• Set on-the-floor QA standards and provide direction to Operations Coordinators and QA Specialists.
• Grow into direct leadership of the site QA organization as the department expands.
