Job summary

Curio Wellness in Missouri seeks a Site Quality Manager to drive quality programs for the facility and oversee the analytical laboratory. You will lead the Manufacturing and Cultivation Quality Team, audit operations, ensure GMP/GAP/GACP compliance, and manage internal labs and QA processes.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory know-how, and the ability to align teams with quality standards while supporting product release testing and statewide METRC compliance.

Qualifications

• Quality Assurance experience, preference given to a food manufacturing environment.
• Prior agriculture or cultivation experience
• Lean manufacturing exposure is a plus
• GMP, GAP, GACP experience preferred
• Preferred Lean or Manufacturing Excellence and previous Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication and customer support skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems.
• Experience supervising a technical team.
• Familiar with laboratory analysis reports, stability reports, certificate of analysis, raw material release and technical reports.
• Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment (GMP, ISO 17025, OSHA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the work activities of others and make recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal, and professional development.
• Lead and streamline quality programs for manufacturing and cultivation.
• Ensure GMP, GAP, GACP standards are followed and cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and cultivation to implement quality improvements.
• Track and close-out non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental monitoring and identify trends for risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (DHSS, Agriculture, etc.).
• Maintain records to regulatory standards and oversee disposal of non-conforming material (green waste).
• Develop and revise policies for cGMP and GAP across operations.
• Lead internal and external audits and drive root cause analysis for quality outages and incidents.
• Review and approve Master Batch Records for release.
• Coordinate with ITL for product release testing when needed.
