Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen and fluent English.
• May be bilingual in English and Spanish if required.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 2 background investigation.
• Must pass the OCI disclosures process.
• One of AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Assists with spending plans for extended absences and deployments.
• Develops and distributes financial materials and conducts classes/workshops.
• Coordinates with installation leadership and DoD points of contact.
• Delivers briefings and referrals, including virtual counseling when needed.
• Maintains DoD protocol for duty-to-warn situations and participates in supervision and training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
