Job summary

Target in the United States is hiring an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) with a flexible schedule that you can tailor by picking up shifts in the myTime app after attending a Welcome orientation. You’ll contribute to a welcoming guest experience across checkout, services, and in-store support.

You will assist guests, promote loyalty programs, and guide them to fulfill their needs while maintaining safety and store standards.

• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet and assist guests to find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Demonstrate service culture by delivering the service standard
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Work quickly to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches and loyalty programs
• Explain and direct guests to fulfillment services (OPU, Drive Up, Registry)
• Explain Wallet and Target App features to guests
• Handle returns and escalate to leadership when needed
• De-escalate situations and recover guest experiences following Target policies
• Deliver friendly service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate safety and compliance at all times
• Support guest services and adapt to business needs
• All other duties as required by business needs
