Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member to support guest services in our store. You will be responsible for greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring efficient checkout and item handling, with shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime app.

You will remain flexible to pick up shifts, maintain attendance, and participate in a short-term training schedule to be prepared for your role as a Guest Advocate.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
