ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app, which are posted by leaders or team members.

We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our contact attempts. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) to avoid administrative termination. You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo structured training before starting shift scheduling through the app.

Guest Advocates focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences through welcoming interactions, problem solving, and promoting store offerings and services. They are knowledgeable about store capabilities and digital features to enhance guest loyalty.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests and creating a welcoming environment
• Understanding guest needs through body language and questions
• Using store tools and services to assist guests
• Processing transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Supporting guest services like order pickup and drive-up
• Following safety and compliance policies

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates enjoy working in a lively environment, interacting with guests, and providing excellent service. They should possess effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Basic skills include positive communication, focus, helpful attitude, and comfort with technology. Physical requirements include lifting up to 44 pounds and standing for long periods.
