You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Active engagement—picking up and working shifts and responding to contact attempts—is required.
Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours), with flexibility for personal circumstances. Starting December 2024, this period will be reduced to 5 months.
Participation involves attending a Target Welcome orientation and completing a short-term training schedule. Afterward, shifts can be picked up through the myTime app.
Advocates of guest experience focus on welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest expectations through interaction and recovery. They are knowledgeable about store capabilities, digital solutions, and services to foster guest loyalty and make shopping quick and easy.
As a Guest Advocate, typical responsibilities include:
Ideal candidates enjoy working in a fun, energetic environment, interacting with guests, and solving concerns. Skills include effective communication, focus, attention to detail, and the ability to operate technology and work independently or as part of a team.
Requires handling cash accurately, lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds, flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, and active engagement in shift participation every 4-5 months.
