ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND: You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM. Your schedule varies based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Regular engagement by working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is required. You must respond to contact attempts to maintain employment; failure to do so may result in termination.

Attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term training schedule. Afterward, use the myTime app to select shifts.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT: Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features that drive guest loyalty. Deliver quick, easy, and accurate service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, and fulfillment areas.

Skills developed include effective communication, problem-solving, adapting to guest needs, promoting store benefits, and using technology tools.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Prioritize guest service by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming environment with authentic greetings
• Observe body language and verbal cues to assist guests effectively
• Engage with guests to understand their needs
• Be knowledgeable about store products, services, and tools to resolve issues
• Thank guests sincerely and inform them about store offerings
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and safely
• Minimize wait times while maintaining service quality
• Inform guests about brand launches and store events
• Promote and assist with Target Loyalty programs and fulfillment services
• Help guests with app features like Wallet
• Handle returns, partner with leaders for de-escalation, and support order pickup and drive-up services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety, ethics, and compliance standards
• Support cash operations and other duties as needed
