ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. We require your active engagement in picking up and working shifts, and responding to our contact attempts.

Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) to avoid administrative termination. You will need to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete training before starting shifts.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features to enhance guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy at various service points.

Skills and experiences gained include:

  • Promoting store benefits and services

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing guest experience
  • Create a welcoming environment
  • Assist guests by understanding their needs and providing solutions
  • Knowledgeably explain store tools, products, and services
  • Efficiently scan and bag items, minimize wait times
  • Promote Target Loyalty programs and other services
  • Handle returns, partner with leaders for de-escalation, support order pick-up and drive-up services
  • Maintain a clean work area, support safety and compliance policies
  • Support cash operations and other duties as needed
