ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary: you must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). From December 2024, this will be every 5 months to avoid termination. Flexibility can be granted for personal circumstances, but responsiveness to contact attempts remains essential.

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term structured training schedule is mandatory. Afterward, you can select shifts through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT
Guest Advocates focus on welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations through interaction and recovery. Knowledge of store capabilities and features that drive loyalty is essential. You will make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, and pickup/delivery options.

Skills developed include:

• Effective communication and building inclusive guest experiences
• Problem-solving and decision-making to resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to various guest interactions and situations
• Promoting store benefits, offerings, and services

Typical Responsibilities:

• Prioritize guest service by demonstrating a service culture
• Greet all guests authentically and observe for assistance needs
• Engage genuinely, asking questions to understand needs
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services
• Scan, bag, and process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Minimize wait times while maintaining service quality
• Inform guests of store events, launches, and loyalty programs
• Assist with digital features like Wallet and Target App
• Handle returns, partner with leaders for de-escalation, and support fulfillment services
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support safety policies
• Support cash office processes as needed
