About On Demand: You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with your schedule varying depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can pick up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement, including picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts, is required. Regular attendance and working at least one shift every 4 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) are mandatory to maintain employment.

Upon being offered this position, attendance at a Target Welcome orientation and participation in a short-term training schedule are required. The myTime app will then be used to select shifts.

Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, your role involves welcoming guests, exceeding service expectations, promoting store services, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product knowledge.

Typical Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service and create a welcoming environment.
• Assist guests with inquiries, returns, and using store services like loyalty programs and the Target App.
• Operate registers accurately, handle merchandise efficiently, and maintain a clean work area.
• Support safety, compliance, and store operations, including cash handling and supporting guest services like order pickup and Drive Up.

Qualifications & Skills

• Enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, remain composed, and work independently or with a team.
• Physical ability to lift merchandise up to 44 pounds and stand for extended periods.
