ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with your schedule depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. We require active engagement—picking up shifts, working them, and responding to contact attempts.

Regular attendance is necessary: you must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If unable to work once every 4 weeks, flexibility can be granted, but you must respond to contact attempts. If you do not work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024), your employment will be terminated.

Successful candidates will attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term training schedule. Afterwards, shifts can be picked through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on providing excellent guest experiences, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding expectations through knowledgeable service in-store and digitally. They facilitate quick, easy shopping and promote Target’s benefits and services.

Skills developed include guest communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and promoting store offerings.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality guest service and create a welcoming environment.
• Observe guest cues to offer assistance proactively.
• Engage with guests to understand needs and offer solutions.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve issues.
• Handle transactions accurately, scan and bag items efficiently, and minimize wait times.
• Promote Target loyalty programs and assist with enrollment.
• Help guests with app features like Wallet and other digital services.
• Assist with returns, de-escalate issues, and support order pickup and drive-up services.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support cash operations.
• Follow safety policies and support compliance with laws, including alcohol laws.
