ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. We require active engagement in picking up and working shifts, responding to contact attempts, and maintaining regular attendance (at least once every 4 weeks, with some flexibility).
You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in short-term training to prepare for your role. The myTime app is used for shift scheduling.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT
Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty. Ensure quick, easy shopping experiences at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.

Role Skills and Responsibilities

Typical Daily Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service and greet all guests
• Observe and assist guests proactively
• Engage genuinely with guests, asking questions to understand their needs
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to assist guests
• Thank guests sincerely and inform them about store events and programs
• Efficiently scan, bag, and process transactions, maintaining accuracy and safety standards
• Minimize wait times while maintaining service quality
• Inform guests about loyalty programs and assist with sign-up and usage
• Educate guests on the Target App features
• Handle returns following store policies and partner with leaders as needed
• Support de-escalation and guest recovery efforts
• Assist with order pick-up, drive-up, and registry services
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock supplies
• Follow safety policies, identify hazards, and work safely at all times
• Support cash office operations as needed
• Perform other duties based on business needs
