Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students to help them reach their full potential.

Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later, transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person married couple required for the role.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
