Job summary

Miami University seeks a Transportation/Delivery Assistant (Vending) to maintain and service campus vending routes, stocking products and ensuring machines operate smoothly.

You will use iPads, mobile apps, and inventory software to manage stock levels, adjust product mix, and coordinate with student workers. The role focuses on early-morning on-campus routing with some weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED and 1 year in moving, delivery, warehousing, or related experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned vending route by stocking and servicing machines.
• Use inventory software, iPads, and mobile apps to manage stock.
• Analyze inventory reports to optimize product mix and pricing.
• Test vending equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Transport products to campus locations using dollies and forklifts.
• Load and unload materials and perform warehousing duties.
• Spend most of the day on campus completing route stops.
• Work 5am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday; occasional weekend work.
