Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Simulation Operations Assistant to join the Center for Simulation & Immersive Learning. You will help set up teaching labs, manage equipment, and support faculty during simulation-based education programs.

This in-person role requires proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication across teams throughout the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• JHU equivalency formula may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up simulation and practice labs for teaching experiences, gathering supplies and moving equipment as needed.
• Maintain and repair simulation equipment, including hardware and software.
• Assist with cleanup after simulations and labs.
• Provide support to faculty during simulation-based education programs and events.
• Assist with inventory control for disposable supplies.
• Move equipment and supplies between locations across the East Baltimore campus.
• Maintain a clean and safe center environment and assist in equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Offer tours of the center and participate in special events as needed.
