Job summary

Liberty University seeks a Resident Director to mentor Resident Assistants, oversee on-campus housing, and promote biblical community and student growth in residence halls.

The role includes 24/7 crisis response, collaboration with the Office of Residence Life, and leadership development for Fall through Easter breaks. Onsite, full-time position with opportunities for graduate study support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed; pursuing master’s degree/continuing education.
• 1–2 years of student or peer development experience.
• Experience with group participation and/or facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Assistants and develop training programs.
• Oversee a team of 6–12 RA in program design and events.
• Facilitate weekly RA group meetings and mentoring sessions.
• Supervise residential area operations and community development.
• Provide 24/7 crisis responses for student issues and follow-up.
• Coordinate housing procedures and housing-related activities.
• Assist in Residence Life events and programming initiatives.
