Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least six hours per fall or spring semester.
• GPA of 2.00 or higher for continuing students.
• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
• May not be a Dual Enrollment student.

Responsibilities

• Assisting staff and faculty with classroom instruction and/or departmental operational needs.
• Performing administrative tasks and other support duties as required by the department.
• Assist with creating and developing lesson materials, games, and manipulatives for the preschool class.
• Work with individual children or small groups to enhance pre-reading and math skills, social and self-help skills.
• Additional duties as required by the department.
