Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care partners with Mercer County College to provide brief counseling and psychoeducation for students and professors. The Student Support Clinician will deliver person-centered, trauma-informed care, perform screening and assessment, and coordinate services on campus and in the community.

This full-time position requires a Master’s degree in a mental health discipline, licensure or licensure-eligible status, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a recognized mental health discipline.
• LSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC, LAMFT/LMFT as credentials.
• Clinical experience with the population.
• CADC/LCADC preferred.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Promote consumer-driven services and recovery-oriented environment.
• Assist individuals and their family in decision-making, action, and treatment planning.
• Provide education and information to individuals and families.
• Provide screening, assessment, linkage and brief counseling to individuals seeking services.
• Coordinate linkage and warm-handoffs to services with internal and external providers.
• Conduct in-person and telephone follow-up to ensure linkage and stabilization.
• Document interactions in the electronic health record for documentation and billing.
• Assist with on-campus marketing and program development.
• Coordinate with Mercer County College partners.
• Attend supervision and team meetings on-site or off-site.
• Develop recovery plans and support individuals.
