Job summary

Texas A&M International University is seeking fall adjunct faculty in Medical Laboratory Science for lecture and laboratory teaching on campus in Laredo, Texas. The position requires a regular on-campus presence and may involve teaching up to six semester hours per schedule.

Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science and MLS certification (ASCP/ASCPi); preferred are a Master's degree and prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science (or closely related field).
• Certification as MLS from ASCP (or ASCPi).
• Master's degree in medical laboratory science (or closely related field).
• Previous teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to six (6) semester credit hours in-person according to program/course schedule and student demand.
• Hold office hours and assist students as needed.
• Face-to-face interactions on campus on a regular schedule.
