Qualifications

• Associate degree or proven proficiency in math subject.
• Experience tutoring adult learners and diverse populations.
• Knowledge of college tutoring process.
• Over two years of related experience in a computerized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students enrolled in Ivy Tech's Math courses in one-on-one or small groups following the tutoring center protocol.
• Complete a summary report for each student after a session.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure best outcomes for students.
• Maintain high-quality customer service while facilitating back-to-back sessions.
• Apply advanced problem-solving to troubleshoot and resolve student questions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including faculty to elevate departmental services.
