Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes supervising daily activities, maintaining routines, leading devotions, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent over time. A strong commitment to youth is required.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Must pass background checks and become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
