Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes and guide 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and a structured family-like environment to support academic and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, supervising transportation and activities, leading devotions, and budgeting. This unique role offers housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27+.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
