Job summary

Georgetown University’s Center for Health Equity in Washington, DC seeks a Research Assistant to support faculty and learner research projects and research infrastructure. You will contribute to study design, IRB submissions, data analysis and dissemination of results, supervising learners and coordinating grant-related activities within the Center for Health Equity and Department of Family Medicine.

The role supports CAPRICORN and a practice-based research network in the DC metro area,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or science related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with IRB submissions and regulatory coordination.
• Knowledge of research methods and NIH/ FDA guidelines.
• Strong analytical, writing and editing abilities; excellent organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in ongoing studies from design to data analysis.
• Prepare IRB submissions and manage IRB communications.
• Supervise and train research assistants and interns.
• Coordinate grant-related subcontractor invoices and budgets.
• Develop study protocols and supporting documentation for funding.
• Coordinate surveys and statistical programs for study usage.
