Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Ability to build productive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Plan, organize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze assessment data to inform and improve instruction.
• Apply best practices in curriculum, instruction, and student learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment for diverse students.
• Communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures.
• Use computers and standard office software to complete responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, and execute lesson plans.
• Adapt teaching for individual students, small groups, and remedial instruction to meet identified needs.
• Evaluate the academic and social growth of students.
• Evaluate student progress and the ability to meet course standards.
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior.
• Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the day.
• Maintain professional competence through in-service training and development opportunities.
• Fulfill a student supervision duty to maintain safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, the community, and agencies to foster learning.
• Perform other duties per Board policies and state statutes.
