Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA seeks a full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include supervision, mentoring, scheduling, driving students to activities, and leading devotions.

Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits for both spouses.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
