Grand Canyon Beverage Company on the Grand Canyon University campus is seeking a Barista to craft quality, made‑to‑order beverages behind the campus coffee bar while adhering to health and safety guidelines. You will deliver friendly service to students, faculty and staff and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires flexible availability—early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays—with the ability to memorize recipes in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• GCU student eligibility: enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
• Maintain GPA: 2.0 for Bachelor’s, 3.0 for Master’s.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours—early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to memorize and recall recipes in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality, made‑to‑order beverages for all customers in a timely manner while following health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and meets customer needs and expectations.
• Follows cash handling and shop policies; supports GCBC and GCU culture, values and mission.
• Maintains a clean and organized environment with team members.
• Communicates information to Shift Leads and Managers; maintains attendance.
