Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Adjunct Nursing faculty member to teach on campus during daytime hours. The role focuses on delivering nursing education, evaluating student learning, and contributing to curriculum development within the state nursing board guidelines.

Responsibilities include employing diverse instructional strategies, guiding learners through clinical and lab experiences, and supporting program outcomes while maintaining professional practice standards.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN degree required; BSN-qualified candidates may be considered.
• Minimum two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Use diverse assessment and evaluation strategies to measure student progress.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Evaluate student learning outcomes and program outcomes against PSLOs.
• Maintain professional practice knowledge aligned with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to program quality improvement and professional development.
• Adhere to state and accrediting bodies' rules and regulations.
