Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Wichita, KS is seeking an Adjunct Nursing faculty member to teach on campus during the day. This role supports students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings, aligning instruction with PSLOs and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN (BSN may be considered) with at least two years of RN clinical experience and a passion for developing the next generation of nurses.

Qualifications

• Active, current RN license in applicable state
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; BSN-prepared nurses may be considered
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development
• Use assessment and evaluation strategies
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation
• Assess student learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings
• Contribute to program outcomes and ongoing quality improvement
• Align instruction with PSLOs and program assessments
• Support professional development and stay current in nursing practice
• Maintain knowledge of relevant state board requirements
