Job summary

Galen College of Nursing seeks experienced nursing adjunct faculty to facilitate learning and learner development across fundamentals, OB, pediatrics, mental health, and medical-surgical specialties. Faculty participate in curriculum development, assessment, and program evaluation within a state-regulated educational setting.

Responsibilities include designing assessments, guiding student progress, and maintaining current professional practice knowledge aligned with the college’s mission and NLN

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN degree required; BSN-prepared nurses may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience as required by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development using assessment and evaluation strategies.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation and assess student learning and program outcomes.
• Design and implement program assessments that support continuous quality improvement.

Education

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

BSN-prepared (considered depending on campus needs)
